CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Mogul and ecosystM.org partnered to create the first ever sustainable swimwear show during Fashion Week Miami, with the goal of using the runway as a platform to raise awareness about environmental issues and sustainable design. Mogul created the concept of Haute Natured, designed the brand and purchased the website domain, but with no "client" or sponsor to cover the cost of producing the event and building the platform, there was considerable risk in taking on a project of this size that hadn't been done before during Miami Fashion Week.
Mogul created what became the most highly publicized event during Miami Fashion Week 2012. Mogul designed the Haute Natured brand and built the entire concept from the ground up, which included securing the industry’s top sustainable swimwear designers and launching the world’s first compostable bikini on the runway. Mogul raised more than $75,000 in sponsorship donations and managed the entire production, fashion show, castings, marketing, PR, web design, social media and creative communications surrounding the event. Haute Natured was attended by more than 1,100 people and made international headlines. The event was featured on CNN International, the Today Show, NPR, Discovery Channel, Sundance Channel, Marie Claire, Playboy, TreeHugger, CNET, Engadget, SyFy, Miami Herald, Miami New Times, Haute Living, Inhabitat and over 100 other media outlets and blogs. Haute Natured was also shared on P. Diddy’s Facebook page in front of 1 million followers.
